Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these meals different? Aren't freezer meals mushy, bland, and all taste the same?

This is a question I hear A LOT, and I used to think that too before I started freezer meal prepping. But trust me when I tell you that these meals are anything but bland and mushy! These recipes are frozen raw, so when you cook them, they are being cooked for the first time and are as fresh as if you would had prepared them that day. There are also multiple cooking methods so if you are not feeling the slow cooker, you can pressure cook or use the oven. We even have grill and air fryer meals! So much variety and so much flavor, nobody would ever guess that what they are being served came from your freezer.

What do I need to buy to start freezer meal cooking?

Aside from buying the recipe’s ingredients, you will also need gallon-sized freezer bags, a knife, cutting board, and maybe a can opener. I also recommend bag holders to prevent spills, but you can set your bag in a bowl or water pitcher if you don’t have one.

Are the recipes only for slow cookers?

Nope! Our recipes use a variety of cooking methods including: Grill, Stove-top, Oven, Slow Cooker, pressure cooker, and Air Fryer! Most recipes even come with instructions for multiple cooking methods so you can choose what works best for YOU!

Should I thaw my freezer meals? Or can I cook them completely frozen?

It is completely safe to cook your freezer meals completely frozen in the slow cooker or pressure cooker. There are recipes that are made for the air fryer, oven, grill and stove top and I recommend thawing those meals either in the fridge the night before, or by running the meal under cold water to ensure even cooking.
